ProShutdown is a free program that restores the “opposite corners” shortcut by listening for Ctrl+F19, and displaying a shut down dialog when these are pressed. It displays a small “F19” icon in the menu bar to remind you that this shortcut is available. Want it gone? Press Ctrl+F18 to hide (or bring back) the icon.
What’s New in this Version - Added “Quick shutdown” shortcut of Ctrl + Option + Command + F19. - Now uses the login items list as a basis for the “Launch at Login” option, so ProShutdown will respect manually adding/removing the program to your login items list. - On Leopard, ProShutdown has a new, black, menu bar icon to better fit in with the rest of the new-look items. - Fixed a memory leak that occurred when toggling “Launch at Login”.
